Not that I'm aware of. Mine went bad, but I am loathe to blame it on manufacturing deficiency over years of hard use, rough handling and the other factors of life. I certainly can't use my experience as indisputable evidence that Pentax can't make a lens, which is what we're supposed to do on the Internet.
