Maybe, but that's life sometimes.

I'd say it's more accurate than not, I can see myself in described in
there, not 100% but close. What's missing though is the reasons that
it may be so.

Photography for me is my passion, the virtual total scope my artistic
endeavor and my escape to some extent, but it's all done on stolen
time effectively.

If you're busy with work, kids, your personal relationship, general
household duties and the cash you make seems to be consumed wholly
just to keep things running then time spent on photography is nothing
but a luxury.

When I get the opportunity to shoot these days it's always rushed, I
bring along a tripod but rarely use it, opting to make the best of the
situation then run rather than just walk by. When you are out with
kids in tow the last thing that you want to do is try to concentrate
on making the perfect shot as they are becoming more and more
frustrated with being stuck in the same spot. So yeah I have lot's of
excuses for myself but I'm sure it's not just me that's hemmed in
photographically like this.

Talking photography and gear fills in the gaps to a small extent when
you can't actually get out and shoot, it's something I enjoy and it's
easy to do with the other constraints in place so I don't consider it
wasted time at all, sharing ideas and views about photography is
important too IMO.

Probably too much said already but that's my take :)

Cheers,
