Windows? Highly recommend Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum. I've got version 11 (but don't know if that is the latest). Very easy to use (lots of tutorials on web & youtube also) but contains a LOT of the features of the big brother Sony Vegas product which is 6x or 7x times the money. Tremendous feature set for $64 (Amazon price). Single click to upload to YouTube. Looks like they have a version 12 out now - can't speak to that version, but am very happy with 11.
