G'day Larry
I'm actually in San Francisco at present but I've been sick as a dog since I got here - picked up a really nasty bug somewhere between Portland and Arcarta. The trip to Yosemite on Wednesday nearly killed me but there was no way I was going to miss it.
I spent the morning at Fisherman's Wharf but I had to come back to the hotel to rest- I just ran out of energy. But I did get to ride on a cable car.
Added to that, the WiFi here at the Mayflower simply wont connect to my Dell laptop so I've been relying on the cafe across the road for email, etc
Sadly, we'll be heading out on the train to Oxnard in the morning so it looks like a PDML meet up isn't going to be possible. A pity - I was looking forward to putting some faces to familiar names. I did manage to catch up with Joe McAllister for an hour or so in Seattle before the lurgi hit me.
