Hey, This lens definitly needs a good tripod to mount it on.
I'm planning on shooting with my k-mount version this coming week. I'll test it both on my tripod (if I can get it ack from my ex) and also using a pistol grip I recently purchased. The seller lists the price @ B&H in the $2k range. The lens he has is a screwmount, and he is quoting is K-mount price, if that has anything to do with a decision. I'm not positive, but I believe the optics are the same. Does anyone know if the screw mount is really SMC?
