Hi Chris:

I've been having internet problems as well but also back on now.  I think we 
saw that Mississippi Steamer bar and grill wall sign which you show in your 
gallery.  Savanna only has a population of about 3,000, so even when it's shut 
it might appear closed :-).

Darrel was disappointed  virtually no action on the river could be seen--no 
steady traffic of boats or barges.  A little put-put boat did veer our way for 
two minutes, but that was about it.  Still, fun to see, and I have added a 
photo to my Mississippi River theme, which now totals two photos.  Course, you 
have to start somewhere :-).  

Nice gallery.  Great job at depicting small town kitsch.
