I don't remember how many kids on our block but other was a lot. During summer vacation Mom would boot me out the door and tell me not to come back until lunch (or dinner). At about noon or 6pm all the mothers would stick their heads out the window and yell for their kids to come home for lunch/dinner.
They had no idea where we were, just out with our friends. We'll never go back to those times, it's a different time. Wouldn't trade me childhood for the world, though. Oh yeah, great photos, Paul! I enjoyed them immensely. cheers, frank --- Original Message --- From: Bob Sullivan <[email protected]> Sent: June 10, 2013 6/10/13 To: "Pentax-Discuss Mail List" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: GESO: Water Wars We had 23+ kids on the block and these were great fun. Mom smiled when we came home soaked. (It was 95 degrees and nobody had air conditioning.) Regards, Bob S.
