Sad Bear Update: I had called a few charities a couple of years ago about stuffed animals and a bunch of other stuff. At the time there was a concern about spreading disease and no one was accepting old stuffed animals. The would only take new, stuffed animals and toys in the original package. I called Goodwill this morning and they now accept used animals, toys and even broken computer equipment.
So, the bear is no longer sad. He and his friends will find new homes. (and a bunch of old computer stuff is going with them!)
