Bumped into an old friend of mine in the Kensington Market area of
Toronto the other day. As the warm weather approaches the Market is
where downtowners go on the weekends:

Nick is a cinematographer who shoots exclusively with film, mostly
documentary shorts, often bicycle related. One of his shorts was
featured in last year's Toronto BFF (Bike Film Festival).
An interesting guy with an expressive face.

It looks like there's a wall behind him and above the wall there's a
door & another brick wall right behind his head, plus whatever that
stick-like thing sticking up from his left (viewer's right) ear.
I think I would have moved him or myself right/left to get either all
door or all wall in the background.
No matter how hard I look him in the eye, my attention is drawn either
up that stick-like thing or over to the white spot on the door(?).
