Why go inflatable when you can take a stuffed one.

Better to rent them once you get there. I can't think of a bigger downer
than having to deal with a grouchy, jet-lagged cormorant.

Check Travelocity & Priceline for cheap package deals on hotel rooms, car
rentals & cormorants together.

Plus, the room you save in your carry-on bag can be used for other things.
