I am less ambivalent about the stick and would remove it. I like the balance of 
space in the frame, but would move the Flamingo's tail feathers a small 
distance away from the edge of the frame by cloning if necessary.
Might, also, dodge the head and upper neck a bit.

Nice!  Interesting combination of colors.  I'm ambivalent about the stick, but 
I think there is a bit too much empty water on the right.
