There is a setting regarding AF called "Expanded area". It controls how the 
camera track the subject if something else enters in front of the subject for 
brief moments. It is also useful when the subject moves out of a focus 
point/all focus points for brief moments.

Other than the improved autofocus, are there any actual functional changes 
between the two cameras?  Or are the menus, and what they do, the same?
