The 60-250 is a killer lens, highly recommended. The real downside is that you need it for this weekend, which would really up the shipping charges. borrowlenses.com (which I'm not that happy with but are decent enough) has it for slightly cheaper and you could drive up to San Carlos to pick it up (zero shipping).
