Besides the 28-105 there is also the FA24-90/3.5-4.5 Since I have only the 24-90 I can't compare with the others but general these three lenses (28-70, 28-105 and 24-90) are highly regarded on this list. With the 24-90 you also have a wider lens. I find that I use my Tokina 20-35 a lot less since I have the 24-90, it is a lens I really am very happy with. If the wide range is one you don't use much to begin with, the 28-105 might be a better choice for you, but the 24-90 is the better choice for me to be sure. I don't think, relatively speaking, the extra length from 90 mm to 105 is very big, but perhaps for you that extra reach is important. Try to have the 28-105 and the 24-90 on your camera before you make a decision.
