I own this exact lens, though I'm not fortunate enough to have the original box. I can tell you it's not very good on digital. CA is pretty bad, and it doesn't produce anything you'd call sharp results until f11. These days I only use it for photographing birds, and even then it's not my first choice. I'd rather use my M* 300mm f4 and crop than this thing.
I keep thinking I should sell it, but it's kind of cool to have such a huge lens on my shelf. It makes for a better conversation piece than usable lens.
