Well, last week I delivered the end results of the family portraits I recently did that gave me such a fit the week prior. The family was pleased enough with my heroic efforts that the mother's sister wanted her family's portraits done this week.

There were no makeup line issues, and the kids were very easy to work with (except for the youngest, a toddler who was just too quick and full of energy for me to keep up with). Only problem was the date they'd decided on happened to coincide with a temperature of 95F and 75% humidity (which, as I understand it, equates to a heat index of 400 degrees). And they wanted them done outdoors in the downtown area -- just to get the full heat island effect, I assume. By the end of the two-hour session, my clothes were quite literally drenched in sweat.

Looking through the photos, I can see I have my work cut out for me again. And to think I held hopes of someday giving up bartending to do this stuff.

On the plus side, next week looks to be pretty nice.
