The Q is surprisingly nimble focusing - there is not much glass to move
I suppose. My only caution is occasionally, it can be slow adjusting
exposure.
As for the Sigma 30, you are right. It isn't small, the trick is to look
like a dufus tourist to be ignored. Not my favourite lens, but its good
to give it exercise once in a while.

I also notice the wonderland bookshop kinokuniya now has a separate shelf
for Australian photography monographs, including some rather hard to obtain
self-published tomes. Kudos to the bookshop's taste.
