The young lady I met who was interested in my old darkroom equipment expressed an interest in posing for some photos. I tried to do something new and different with the background and tried back lighting the white seamless. In this one I gelled the flash.
It's an interesting effect, but very tough to work with, getting everything balanced, not blowing out a color channel, and if you light the whole background white, flare proves to be a problem. In short, it's a clever idea, and you can get some good effects, but I'm not sure that it's the best way of going about it. It might have worked better if I hadn't tried doing it downstairs, where things are rather cramped. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/9417185130/in/set-72157634890993590 -- Larry Colen [email protected] http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
