Finally what the flying F*** are Breadcrumbs???
Here's a question I can answer. ;-)
Breadcrumbs are navigation bar (navbar) aids. Let's suppose I have a
nested gallery called Alaska | Skagway | Train. Someone who goes into
the Train gallery will see "*Alaska* | *Skagway* | Train" at the top of
their screen (where "*Alaska*" and "*Skagway*" are links to the parent
galleries). This is incredibly useful and helpful for navigating through
large sites.
So now what are Breadcrubms again???? :-)
To me it is incredibly confusing but I'm guessing breadcrumbs are
equivalent to keywords, in a way. yes?
More like directory names on a filesystem. The breadcrumbs show the
"path" for nested folders. IOW, on a filesystem I might have
well I sure know about directories, directories=folders
but I dont know what IOW is (except the first 3 letters of a midwest
state.) I have learned OMG, LOL and FWB though :-)
ann
Alaska\Skagway\Train
and putting that on SmugMug would give me nested galleries. Someone
navigating to the Train gallery would see that the parent galleries are
"Alaska" and "Skagway"; clicking on "Skagway" would show all the
galleries underneath Skagway.
