The DA 35 is getting to be one of my favorite carry around lenses as well.
Yep. It's really nice to carry, too. As in very light. It gives an entirely new dimension to the term "cheap plasticy toy lens feeling", of course, but it seems to me that it actually performs quite well ;-)

Taken as a kind of lens test, really; earlier this summer, I bought a
DA35mm/2.4 lens on a whim. Then I stuck it on a film body and shot an
entire roll of HP5+ with it. Worked rather well, I think...
