That's a nice first gallery with the K5, Ann. Love the graceful composition of the yellow and blue umbrellas. Lately, I've been thinking about shoring up my manual focus skills. I've been a bit lazy in that respect. I've made a few boo-boos with white balance--forgetting to reset customizations etc--of course, I think I've made just about every photographic boo-boo one can make. lol. I've never liked the results of the the HDR feature, but I haven't worked it much.
So glad you are having fun with the camera. I've said this before, and I know folks may think I'm crazy, but I really think the K-5 should go down in photographic history as one fantastic camera. When you think of camera size, IQ, ISO quality, metering strength, weather resistance, and cost--well, I think overall, great camera. It's not perfect to be sure, but it's still pretty darn great.
