Corel bought bibble 5 and re-branded it as aftershotpro.
I have use bibble for many years. Version 5 was a big step and they ran out of resources to properly develop 5 so they sold to Corel and bibble's main man went an worked for Corel.
He felt that with more backing they could provide the resources to finish the job properly.
