Unless Agfa XPS is the current amateur emulsion then it very well may be
"exotic" to Wal-Mart. The Agfa amateur films tend to change balance
significantly when they go to a "new improved" emulsion. My normal Agfa
channels print OK but I have a customer that shoots a pro emulsion. I have
to print her stuff so it looks badly red in my monitor so it will print
correctly. I don't see enough of it to set up a separate channel for it.
Check on the back of the print. If you are lucky there will be a series of
N's, letters, and/or numbers printed. Those will give you any color or
density correction that were made (if any). From there, if you understand
color theory you can tell them what they need to do to get an acceptable
print. Unfortunately most minilab operators for drug store, discount dept.,
and chain minilab/ camera stores, don't really know how to color correct, or
what a correct print is supposed to look like, so even if they are willing
they may not be able.
