I was out with my Son this afternoon, and spotted some cameras in a Jeweller's window. On entering the store, I saw a case full of S/H camera gear near the back. In the corner I noticed a zoom mark Pentax, so asked to see it. It was a Soligor 90-230 f4.5 with PX Adapter(has roller-manual switch for DOF). As I already have the adapters for PS, PK and Nikon Pre-I, this was a chance I couldn't miss, so I got it for CDN$82(Taxes inc.). Apart from a minor repair and a missing Tripod Collar clamping screw, it is perfect. It only took me 20 minutes to tighten the screws which were loose, or had dropped out behind the collar.
I now have the following lenses to fit any of my PS, PK or Nikon Pre-AI mount cameras: Soligor 105mm f2.8 Telephoto Vivitar 300mm f5.5 Telephoto Vivitar 400mm f6.3 Telephoto (PX Adapter) Soligor 90-230 f4.5 (PX Adapter) I'm hoping to get a Soligor or Vivitar equivalent to of my PS Hoya HMC 70mm-150mm f3.8.
