Well, I think the guy should be encouraged to produce his product for the Q and he would probably find more than a few buyers.
What his product would allow is testing to see if the Auto 110 lenses can perform better at smaller apertures. FWIW, I'm not impressed with what I see of them wide open: http://runningwithstethoscopes.wordpress.com/2013/08/07/pentax-q-and-auto-110-lenses-tested/ I don't think this is terribly surprising however and I suspect that the sensor is going to out-resolve the lenses, regardless of aperture, particular with the larger sensor of the Q7. Side point: As with any lens that produces CA, you can always still use it to create decent B&W images.
