On the front page of the BBC News website <http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/> today there is story in the right-hand sidebar entitled "You win". The story is not very interested, but the accompanying thumbnail - which is not repeated in the main part of the story - is.
It is almost identical to one that I took during a riot in London on May Day, 2000. Here is the thumbnail: <http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/69324000/jpg/_69324790_69324515.jpg> Here is my version: <http://www.web-options.com/Mayday2000/content/IMG0041_large.html> The other photographer and I must have been shoulder-to-shoulder, and snapped just a few seconds apart. It was quite a shock when I saw it this morning - I thought it was mine, but it isn't.
