This book is aimed at people completely new to Photoshop - because that's typically what we get in introductory courses (though of course we have to accommodate those who've done some Photoshop in high school too; it's a tough balancing act). It's also tilted slightly towards using Photoshop as a Graphic Design tool, rather than a photography tool. Lightroom has really supplanted Photoshop in that area. Make no mistake, there are plenty of "photography" tips and exercises, but not enough to make it advantageous to someone whose primary interest is photography, especially if they have experience with Photoshop. I doubt it would benefit anyone on the PDML. -- Mark Roberts - Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
