I've been doing some more research on the side, and it looks like a new mini, with a fusion drive, and a 27" thunderbolt display, and 16GB of OWC memory, if I get a refurb and a F&F discount, would set me back about $2,000. Add another $100 for new keyboard and mouse. This is probably a better investment than spending $600 or $1,000 on a six year old iMac, and would probably net me far more than twice the performance gain. -- Larry Colen [email protected] http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
