I don't know much about the little guy other than he was gone when I
went out to look for him an hour or so later. I wonder if it may have
been sitting there waiting for ants. I've seen them on the stand quite a
bit, trying to get to the hummingbird feeder. (I smear a little
petroleum jelly on the stand to keep them out of the nectar.)
