Ugh. My condolences. Our dog has had the same bad luck, a few

I imagine... good luck if you have to go for round 2.

It's not that hard to give a cat a bath if you've got enough
determination and a good sturdy pair of leather work gloves you don't
mind getting wet.

Don't forget the chainmaille..

He actually was pretty well behaved in the shower - since he has his
claws and is of a good size, it could have gone otherwise. Once I
managed to get a direct hit with the water into his deflicted eyes I
think he instantly knew this was not a bad thing...

Heh - never thought I would use Zappa lyrics in a PDML post...

I just wore jeans & a long sleeve shirt along with the leather work
gloves. Filled the bath tub full of water & grabbed him by the scruff of
the neck to dip him in. Once he understood I was bigger than he was and
that he wasn't going to escape, he more or less just sat there &
tolerated it with ill grace.

He had to have that bath for his own good, so he was going to have it.
Neither one of us had to like it. We just had to do it.
