Dan,
Wish I knew.  It was a very Italian company.
If you spoke only one language to get along in the factory, it would be Italian.
In the '60's it was still Italian immigrants to Chicago working there.
The 'top of the line' Radio Flyer wagon was a wooden model imported from Italy.
It gave the guys working in the warehouse fits because it was so heavy.
Those were good days and fun times.  The people were excellent.  Fond memories.
