Here it is mounted on a Q. He posts shots composed with it. They look
fairly accurate it he is indicating he did not crop.

I have one of those Yashica viewfinders and posted some observations
late last year in this thread:

It's usable but it's hardly ideal. Frankly, there's just too much
guesswork involved for it to be worth the trouble.
Cheers

Hello Steve, you are in luck. No need for "shock or horror" at not
finding optical or digital viewfinders on todays mirror less or P&S
cameras.
And there is no need to for an expensive LEITZ accessory Viewfinder.
Exactly the same viewfinder - note my word exactly the same - is
available as a Yashica Kit for some $ 20 to 30 on eBay / Craigslist /
Goodwill / Pawn Brokers / Thrift Stores. And in the bargain you will
get an antique leather case + two 55mm mount Wide + Tele auxiliary
lenses.
Now Yashica made some very good cameras and lenses, so these
multicoated lenses are pretty good too.
Here is what I do for cameras that don't have accessory hot shoes. I
cannibalize a hot shoe from a junk camera or buy them on eBay for $ 2
or 3. I stick them on top of the camera cover with epoxy or crazy
glue. And presto, I have a mount for my Auxiliary Viewfinder.
Now go have some fun with your Adapters and Viewfinder as using Pentax
lenses on mirror less cameras are a joy.
Regards.
Bipin - from that far away enchanting land.
