Oh, and the lights/sound technician (the guy on the right in first picture
and a Canon shooter) told me I am a very alternative photographer by using
Pentax ;)

Very little reaction after I was recognized as the photographer and
explained the fisheye lens required me to go so close. They were doing their
duties of stretching/warming/practicing and I was doing my duty of shooting.
Very few words exchanged among us and then I went away shooting other people
at the event.

I'd imagine the dancers generally felt that these perspectives fairly well
depicted their sense of movement.
