There's a newspaper in the area called Street Spirit, which deals with the issues and lives of the homeless and street people. I just talked with the editor and he's decided to put me on as sort of a "stringer" where I can photograph whatever I want and submit the work for publication. These would be like stock photos that the newspaper would use for general illustrative purposes, or to be used with specific stories if appropriate.
Once he's seen some more of my work, and, of course, if he likes it, he's promised to give me some specific paid assignments. This might be a good thing for me right now. I've been in the doldrums, both personally and creatively, and I'd like to do some volunteer work that would motivate me to get out and make some more photographs and take me in a direction that's away from my regular job, and which may lead to some possibilities down the line. -- Shel Belinkoff mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.earthlink.net/~belinkoff/ http://home.earthlink.net/~belinkoff/darkroom-rentals/index.html - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
