Guess who has a press pass :-) so far I sniped pics of Robert Townsend, Tonya Lee Williams and Anais Granofsky. A few other directors were there but no big name celebs. Spike Lee and Eriq La Salle have their new work premiering here this weekend but no word on them. At least I was back in my "paparatzi" element, The MZ-3 continues to prove it's self in low light where I saw others switching to manual focus and only a large Metz hammer head outranged the AF500FTZ. I see why a 80-200 F2.8 would come in handy ( it's on the to get before MZ-S list ) but I still don't see why N and C are used more, the Pentax was smaller, easier to maneuver ( which I think is more important than FPS and max shutter speed since they never come into play here ) and also very important it is less intimidating. This is also where the Sigma 28-105 shines, super fast quiet AF and sharp enough, Gumby distortion (tm) doesn't matter here. I do need to get a strobo frame I think but then the rig turns larger. Ok enough rambling untill I sample all the Anime being shown ( many first time on the big screen in Canada, X, Ninja scroll, Ghost in a Shell, Escaflowne ).
