John S, I share your 'love' of spiders of any size, and I think they know it. Sometimes it seems that I have a target on my back. I have seen some of the largest specimens of my life since we moved to western Tennessee a few years ago.
Garden spiders are nothing new, but I keep reminding myself that the fatter they get from eating the bugs, the healthier my flowers should be. I haven't been able to rationalize the existence of the wolf spider. This one adds and extra level of freak-out due to its size. http://yolandarowe.smugmug.com/Photography/PDML/n-LKWPP Yonnie -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
