I have now rethreaded 2 of the 3 stripped screwholes on my bayonet ring. I will attempt to reform the last one again tonight. Eventually it will take hold. The edges of the frame all seem to have equal sharpness. There is some slight softness in the lower left corner at wide apertures, but that most likely my lens (and its really slight). This particular k-7 is already focus adjusted to +5 to begin with, so I have my doubts that this mount was perfect from the start, unlike my other k-7 which is perfect at 0. Stopped down to f8, everything looks very good. I'll have to try more lenses and infinity shooting to see how aligned everything looks. I'm fairly pleased with my first results all things considered. Looks like I need to recalibrate focus though. It could be a whole lot worse.
