Cotty,

I had the chance to test this camera and I wrote a review in my friend's
technology blog. In Spanish I am afraid:
http://www.teknofilo.com/pentax-mx-1/
(contains a full size image gallery)

In short: The camera is very user friendly and I loved the tiltable LCD screen.
The retro look is not as well rounded as Fuji's one and the battery life was
not among the best. At that time I found the street price a bit high compared
to the competitors, but this may have improved.

I will be more than happy to answer any question that you may have on or off
list, as you prefer.

(it is not true that you have to take the cap off to review pictures, you can
start in review mode just pressing the review button for a while, just like
almost all current compact cameras)

Asunto: Pentax MX-1 advice sought

My son has asked me for reviews / advice / experience of the MX-1 and
aside from the usual DP Review pages, can anyone point out some suitable
reading with this camera?

Many thanks.
