Quoting Christine Nielsen <[email protected]>:

Impressive! We were there a few years ago.. of course in the middle
of the day & deep shade under the overhangs... I should go back & look
at the files I shot with the k-7 & see how they did...

Did you go on the tour of the sites? I remember it being a challenge
for anyone with a fear of heights or claustrophobia...like me. :)
But, still a great take-in.

No - at that stage I was still in stroke recovery mode and climbing up and down ladders and negotiating steep paths was a recipe for a broken leg...

I limited myself to appreciating the sites from the cliff tops.

Thanks for looking, Christine.

Cheers

Brian

G'day all

The Spruce Tree House at Mesa Verde.

Really only a documentary shot but I was impressed with the amount of detail that could be extracted from the dwelling under the cliff overhang, which was in deep shade. This was a jpg shot with the K-5 and the DA 55-300.
