First success tonight with the O-GPS1. Got a whole series of images at
different exposures of Andromeda and her neighbors. I hope to get my
first taste of stacking RAW files for more a detailed image tomorrow,
but for now here is a crop of a single in-camera JPEG with only
mimimal post-processing (described in my comments).

I realize that it is probably the easiest astrophotography target in
the sky, but it is a starting place, and I'm encouraged! The SMC K
135mm f2.5 gave pretty nice round star images across the field, with
only the expected coma at the edges of the full frame.

This was about 5 miles SE of town, down a Dead End road (where I saw a
whole herd of deer in my headlights including a very nice buck). The
moon was at about 23% and not quite set yet, behind me. From darker
skies I would probably have gotten even more detail.
