Hey gang, I finally have my setup put together for my new 500/4.5. I'm using it on my LX with FB-1 and FC-1 action finder. I've put a bogen pistol grip 3265 on a Velbon VS-3's legs. I may need something (like a bag of beans) to steady the legs.

I snapped a pic with the timer like this, so we'll see what happens. (Anyone know if I can use the timer & mirror lockup on the LX?) For handholding of this lens, I have a pistol grip, though I must admidt, with the present state of the world, I'm a bit leary of using this. You can be the judge of why.
