Yeah, I wish these kids would wear helmets. That being said all the kids I see there seem to know how to fall. Lots of scraped legs (mostly from pedals hitting shins) but thankfully no head injuries.
As for the timing, I must admit I had it set on "continuous" and this was the third of four frames.
