Excellent. Thanks Tom. :-)
Speaking of music that Boris might like, I heard a cut off the latest Mark Knopfler on KPIG last night. Very nice, as to be expected. The thing that surprised me was how at the start it sounded so much like Dave Alvin. I think it would be very interesting if the two of them teamed up. But in any case, Boris should check out Dave Alvin. His band, or one of them is Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men, but he recently did some work with an all woman backup band, "the guilty women" which was excellent. Back in college, I was a big fan of his band "the Blasters". I believe he has some Blasters songs in his collection, they are very good but almost completely unlike Alvin's later work. Privateering is this week's feature on KPIG's fresh pork chops, where they play a couple cuts off a new album each night for a week: http://www.kpig.com/index.cfm/article_17.htm Interesting, the video linked to on that page is the California Honeydrops, a band I know well: http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=99496143@N00&q=honeydrops > > G > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- Larry Colen [email protected] http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
