I have to admit these are tough to look at. The bike in my photo had a lovely 
tribute taped to it. She seemed like an amazing woman.

Hopefully these makeshift memorials raise everyone's awareness (motorists and 
cyclists alike) to share the road and ride/drive safely. 

The immutable laws of physics dictate that when 150lb. cyclist meets 2 1/2 ton 
car, the cyclist tends to get the worst of it.
