Looking at poison oak rarely makes me itch.

When I took Walt to Bonny Doon beach, I slipped on the trail up the hill
to the train tracks. Once I was outside of sight from Hwy 1, I
donated some water and nitrates to the local bushes. On the way back
to the car I noticed some poison oak next to the trail, near where I
had slipped. A few days later, I confirmed that my hand had indeed
landed in the poison oak.

Like all California natives, I have a long list of poison oak stories.

I recently did a bit of research into it, and it's pretty interesting
