That, and the previous were taken at Limekiln park (see the map). When I was a kid, it was privately owned park, and one of my family's favorite places to camp. We'd camp on a levee near the beach next to a lagoon formed by the levee holding back water from the creek. There are some nice woods, and a waterfall on the inland side of the park. Those poles and the orange sign are for the construction area to repair the damage from last year's big mudslide. If I were to dig through slides that I have downstairs I would be able to pictures I took of that stretch of beach ~40 years ago, attempting to catch light shining through the backs of waves. It's often entertaining to stop by one's favorite childhood haunts. > http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/10550655805/in/set-72157637075885303 > http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/10550723674/in/set-72157637075885303/ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Eric Weir > Decatur, GA USA > [email protected] > > "You will be needed in the movement when you > realize that you are not needed in the movement." > > - Chris Crass > > > > > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- Larry Colen [email protected] http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
