One thing I liked when we did mid-winter holidays in Tekapo... I think the sun 
didn't get over the eastern hills until about 9am.  But I guess those closer to 
the Arctic Circle can easily beat that.

I'm gradually shifting my virtual timezone at the moment for a race on Saturday 
which has an 8:30am start, so I'll have to get up around 5:00 to 5:30.  I do 
wish I could motivate myself to get up this early all the time.
