Driving home tonight, it looked like the moon and Venus will be very close in the sky tomorrow night. There may be a website that lists such conjuntions, but I don't know it.
Also, I have long found the moon to be an excellent test subject. It's more interesting than a brick wall, and pretty consistent, no matter where you are. If someone has a decent quality long lens, and both a K-5 and a K-3, I'd be very interested to see how photos of the moon compare with both of them. I suspect that the K-3 might be exceeding the ability of all but the best lenses, so that the added resolution might not get that much improvement (20% linear?) but it would be interesting to see. Of course, it would probably work best to wait a couple days for the half moon for that test. -- Larry Colen [email protected] http://red4est.com/lrc -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
