Thanks to all who looked & commented. The geese entered the water by that
dead reed on the small island at the back. I thought there may be some drama
but they gave the croc a wide berth. Brian, it is probably as you say -
crocs, like alligators, generally hunt by stealth from the water. However,
they have been known to grab stuff which gets too close.

sun, otherwise it wouldn't be quite so visible.
