this is because Adobe was hacked and their password file, which wasn't
properly encrypted, was posted publicly so that it's quite possible
someone already has your old Adobe password
so Adobe didn't protect you well, and they deserve criticism for that,
but forcing the password change is a responsible act, even if it is
inconvenient
I wasn't pissed about the password change. I was pissed about not being
able to get into the update server AFTER changing my password.
